
In 1935, the debate team of Wiley College, a small and unranked school in Texas, unexpectedly defeated the all-time championship team from the University of Southern California. This was a classic case of the unknown triumphing over a national giant.
We all face giants in our lives—worry, doubt, fear and many others. It was in the N2 Cluster games that we rose up together as Warriors to fight against the memories of being the weaker team; of being trashed last few years. Winners put the time and commitment into achieving their goal.
Winners put in the extra hard work and deeply believe in themselves.
Winners plan on making good decisions every day and fail forward as they make mistakes
Winners use the gifts God blessed has them with to the best of their ability.
Most importantly, when it comes time to shine, winners do their best and let God take care of the rest.
Regardless of the outcome, a winner recognizes the importance of giving their super and complete effort.
Because of these many of these traits, many winners may become champions.
However, there are a few of Champions who may have never won the gold medal, first place trophy, but they will always be Champions in life because of their positive attitude and priceless humility. Champions know life is not all about them.
This journey has taught us as a company that WE CAN WIN. However, I urge all of you, warriors, to walk the path of Champions!
