Adventure Quest

WELL Well well... Who do we have here? What are they doing. Hmmm is this the First team of Boys that we sent for Adventure Quest? Oh yes, they participated in relay in AQ2006. This was in their Sec 2s. But looks like these photos were taken in the 70s. Haha.

Last year, we sent more Boys to take part in the Boys team (4) and the Relay team (12). Altogether a total of 16 Boys participated in AQ2007. It was a good learning lesson and first time experience for many.

Finally, this year's team has completed the race in good time on the 05/04/08. The Captain of this team is Dennis who is experienced in a few Adventure races. And he trained together with CSM Lewis, Casey, Keng Hwee, Aaron, Qing Xiang and Munshi. Dennis and Lewis were even involved in a Race held by SAFRA Adventure (50km). Both of them are rather seasoned racers. The rest of team devoted themselves to the training regime. They have been told to "Train hard, Fight easy!".

I would also like to give special thanks to the reserves - Aaron, Qing Xiang and Munshi. These were Boys that strived on with every training knowing that they can be called upon with any of team player is down. What an important role!

2. To Be Victorious - Don't be Complacent

3. To Be a Blessing - Don't be Selfish

How many of you will be there next year to represent our Coy?

I have attached a picture of an athelete who is Olympics Gold Medalist in hurdles. And he says 'Always turn training into a game '. This guy is a WINNER. Liu Xiang is victorious because of his mindset. Every warrior must have a Victorious mindset. I believe anyone can do great things if they focus and discipline themselves in the small things.
